Terry Mason Wright
Terry Mason Wright was born July 28, 1958 to Donald Lee and Betty Ann (Mason) Wright in Anadarko, OK. He passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at his home in Gracemont, OK at the age of 66.
Terry graduated from Oney High School in 1976 and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He lacked seven hours to obtain his Master’s degree. He taught electronics, applied physics, computer networking, and Cisco at Caddo Kiowa Vo-Tech. In 1991, he married the love of his life, Sharon House in Lawton, OK. Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting guns. He was a member of the Oney Baptist Church and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who was loved by all his family, friends and students. He will truly be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home; son, Donald L. Wright of Ft. Cobb, OK; daughter, Mylissia Wright of Muscogee, OK; adopted sons, Cameron J.B. Wright & Catherine and Blake Preston Ellis Wright; grandchildren, Bentley Trason, Layton Fox, Brantley Tyler, James, Mason and Areva; sisters, Vicki Lynn Wright of Ft. Cobb, OK, Pam Deevers of Elgin, OK and Dawn Ann Mendenhall; father-in-law, Richard House; sister-in-law, Karen Marsh; brothers-in-law, Jeff House and Drew House; adopted daughter, Tara Fisher of Ft. Cobb, OK; aunt, Imogene Spears and Treena Wright Shotts; as well as a host of numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Jim & Linda Weeks, Dean Pack, Coty Pack, Melvin Beatty, Mickey & JoAnn Plunk, Treena Wright, David & Robin Lynn and Steve & Karen Thomas, all the EMT’s and Fire and rescue and Ally Home Health for your love and support.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee & Betty Ann Wright, stepmother, Roberta; and mother-in-law, Juanita House.
Memorial Services: Monday, August 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oney Baptist Church in Albert-Oney, OK.
