Elaine D. Klusmeyer was born July 4, 1937 in Pawhuska, OK, to Tom and Grace (Hyde) Javellas.  She passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, in Flower Mound, TX, at the age of 87.  Elaine grew up in Osage County where she worked in her parents’ café for years.  She graduated from Pawhuska High School, then went to college at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, OK where she studied music.  She married Walter Klusmeyer on October 7, 1961, at Norton Memorial Hospital in Winfield, KS, where Elaine’s mother was hospitalized at the time.  The couple resided in Perry after getting married, and they had three boys.  Elaine took great pride in being a homemaker. They moved their family to Moore for a time and then to the Fort Cobb Lake area.  They attended church at Swan Lake Baptist Church, Eakly Baptist Church and helped build the Oakdale Church in that area.  Elaine loved doing puzzles, singing, going to church and researching genealogy.  
 
Elaine is survived by three sons, Jeff Klusmeyer and wife Melissa of Hickory Creek, TX, Calvin Klusmeyer of Mustang, OK, and Jim Klusmeyer and wife Rena of Lewisville, TX, grandchildren, Terra and Takoda Klusmeyer and Abbie and Hunter Klusmeyer and Alexis Klusmeyer, Dana Klusmeyer and children, and two great-grandsons, Henry and Jackson as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Grace Javellas, husband Walter Klusmeyer, and siblings, Jim and Ina Javellas.
 
Services: Pentecostal Holiness Church, Saturday, 10:00 AM, September 14, 2024, Hinton, OK

Burial: Eakly Cemetery, Eakly, OK
